A total of 800 yearlings have been catalogued for the 2024 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale at Oaklands Junction on 3-5 March.
Of these, 608 yearlings are offered by 44 Victorian vendors, contributing to 76% of the overall catalogue. 66% (528) of the catalogues yearlings are VOBIS Silver nominated. Additionally, Victorian-based stallions are well-represented, with 371 progeny featured in the catalogue, accounting for 46%.
The spectrum of stallions encompasses proven sires such as Written Tycoon (30 lots) and Toronado (29 lots), young sires with successful runners like Alabama Express (21 lots) and Blue Point (19 lots), and top-class racehorses represented by their first crop- progeny, including Ghaiyyath (7 lots) and Hanseatic (30 lots).
The Inglis Premier Sale has consistently proven to be a reliable source of high-quality horses, with 27 graduates winning Group 1 races since 2018 and 33 graduates claiming victories in races exceeding $1 million since 2019. Furthermore, all horses purchased at the sale are eligible for nomination in the lucrative Inglis Race Series.

Lot 164 - Alabama Express x Cerberus Girl filly - Yulong
Yulong's first-season sire, Alabama Express, has displayed impressive results with 2YOs, accumulating pre-Christmas earnings exceeding $1 million. This filly, out of G2-winning mare Cerberus Gal, has a notable pedigree. Cerberus Gal is the dam of six foals to race, all of which were winners, including G3 winner Irukandji.
Lot 182 - Ghaiyyath (IRE) x Cornelia Marie colt - Blue Gum Farm
Sired by the 2020 European Horse of the Year, Ghaiyyath who’s standing at Darley, this colt represents Ghaiyyath's inaugural southern hemisphere yearlings. The colt, out of Listed winning Reset mare is a half-brother to G3 winner Tyche Goddess.
Lot 201 - Toronado (IRE) x Demasheen filly - Supreme Thoroughbreds
Swettenham Stud's Toronado, sire of G1 winner Masked Crusader and Victor The Winner, presents another promising crop, featuring this filly out of winning Fastnet Rock mare who has already produced two Black Type winners.
Lot 247 - Written Tycoon x Fuhryk colt - Longwood Thoroughbreds Farm
Victoria's Champion Sire, Written Tycoon, known for siring 12 Group 1 winners, is represented by this colt out of G3 winner and G1-placed mare Fuhryk.
Lot 289 - Blue Point (IRE) x Humma Mumma colt - Flinders Park Stud
Flinders Park Stud showcases a colt by Darley Victoria's shuttle stallion, Blue Point, out of the winning Bel Esprit mare, Humma Mumma, making him a half brother to G3 winner Humma Humma and Black Type winner Tycoon Humma.
Lot 427 – I Am Immortal x Noetic filly – Collingrove Stud
There is a significant pedigree update for the filly of Swettenham’s stallion I Am Immortal as her half-brother wins the Group 1 Centenary Sprint Cup in Hong Kong a week ago.Â

Yulong Stud presents a quality colt by G1 Blue Diamond winner Tagaloa, out of an unraced Redoute's Choice mare who herself is a full sister to first-season sensation Alabama Express.
