Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria (TBV) are the peak representative body of breeding in Victoria. As the custodians of breeding in Victoria, we are a not for profit association, we serve our Members and Breeders, by representing their views and needs at a local, national and international level.
We are the officially recognised representative of Victorian Thoroughbred Breeding by State and Federal Governments, Racing Victoria, Race Clubs, The Australian Studbook, Veterinary Associations, the Australian Horse Council and Universities.
Our vision is for Victoria to be recognised as the superior and leading jurisdiction of Thoroughbred breeding. Our mission is to promote and strengthen a sustainable Victorian Thoroughbred Breeding industry.
TBV is representative of breeders in Governmental issues relating to the industry and provides accurate and authoritative advice and information to members and to the general public on any aspect of the thoroughbred industry.
