The recent Inglis Ready2Race Sale at Riverside was a boon for many Victorian vendors.
The sale was a record with significant jumps in average, median and gross.
We take a look at some of the stronger results from a Victorian perspective.
Baystone
At 73 years old, Mick Gibson took two horses under the Baystone draft, prepared at his farm in Baddaginnie. Mick bought the Starcraft x Splendid Eagle colt out of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale for $40,000 and sold him at the Ready2Race Sale for $70,000. He also bought an Impending colt out of Premier for $22,500 and sold him for $90,000. His family were understandably very proud of his efforts.
