Three Bridges Thoroughbred’s will be taking a draft of seven to the Magic Millions sale including yearlings by many leading proven sires. Three Bridges Thoroughbred are not taking any yearlings to Sydney this year and are taking their premium early developing horses to the Magic Millions with some very nice horses going to Melbourne Premier. ‘We would hope to find buyers at Magic Millions who will be racing their horses next year. Our draft includes the hot sires in I am Invincible, Written Tycoon, Snitzel and one of the two Street Boss’ in the sale and Snitzel.’ remarked Peter Liston.

Lot 810 is the standout of the draft who has already created great excitement both at the farm inspections and by the team at Three Bridges Thoroughbreds according to Peter Liston.

‘We have an outstanding colt by I am Invincible out of a Pivotal mare, Solar Moon which goes back to the family of Dubai Millennium. He is just one of those very special horses, the way he moves, holds himself and his physique.’ This horse really seems to have the wow factor both on pedigree and physically and it will be exciting to see him through the ring. This colt’s full brother made $700,000 at the Sydney Easter Sale last year and is going to Hong Kong purchased by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. There is clearly something special about this family.’

Lot 272 has an exciting pedigree by a Dual Group 1 winning mare Eskimo Queen and prove very popular by the filly buyers given she already has so much residual without even stepping onto a racetrack. Eskimo Queen won both the (Queensland Oaks and Coolmore Classic) and her son, Dreamforce out of Fastnet Rock won the Group 1 George Ryder. ‘A Group 1 winning mare, breeding a Group 1 horse by a Group 1 stallion’ remarked Peter. Three Bridges Thoroughbreds own this mare alongside the Queensland based breeding syndicate, Boutique Bloodstock and they have been delighted with her preparation. Not many Group 1 Winners leave Group 1 Winners so we are very excited about her future.

Lot 37 is another highlight of the draft, I am Invincible by the Exceed and Excel mare, Alteza Real. This filly is closely related to the Stakes placed winner Garibaldi who had back-to-back wins on his last two outings. In addition, she also closely related to Power Scheme by Fiorente who was very impressive over the Spring winning on Caulfield Cup Day and Stakes Day. The mare Alteza Real also had a Group 3 winner by Lonhro in South Africa.

In addition, Three Bridges Thoroughbreds have another two lovely fillies going through the ring. Lot 289, Spirit of Boom x Fairchild who has produced three foals currently racing who have all won. Lot 598 is a lovely looking filly by Toronado x Nixon, with three foals currently racing has produced two winners, Stylish Missile and Catia.

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds have nominated five out of the seven in their draft for the Super VOBIS and Peter Liston explains the extra benefit the scheme can offer for the sale ‘Super VOBIS is great bonus for anyone that buys a nominated horse especially for those wanting to race in Victoria. If buyers have two horses they like, and one is Super VOBIS nominated it is likely to give the extra advantage.’

Peter Liston is confident ahead of the sale following discussions amongst the industry ‘We are lucky that races have continued during this pandemic with many syndicators managing to sell their horses and trainers cleared their books and are very hopeful ahead of the sales. The sale companies are always doing the right thing to get buyers to the sales and I believe it will be a good market especially for Magic Millions.
