TBV STALLION TENDER SCHEME
Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria Inc (TBV) relies heavily on the generosity and support of the Victorian stallion owners in order to promote and advance the breeding industry in the State.
Each year a number of stallions services are donated to TBV to on sell to broodmare owners to raise funds for the Association. Unlike other tender schemes monies raised from the TBV stallion tender scheme go back into the promotion and marketing of the Victorian breeding industry so we encourage breeders to bid high and in doing so help us help Victoria.
How does it work?
Firstly contact the TBV office for a list of stallions. The tender scheme operates in July of each year so remember to call for your copy of the brochure.
Secondly, simply nominate your stallion/s of choice and submit a bid as close to the advertised service fee as possible to ensure your bid will be successful. Place your stallion choices in order of preference then sit back and wait to be contacted should you be successful. Breeders can nominate for a number of their broodmares on the form.

2. A non-refundable security deposit, amounting to 10% of the tendered service fee less GST shall be payable to TBV within 5 days of notification that the tender has been successful.
