It was another super day for Sun Stud’s prolific sire, Love Conquers All, with We Concur winning the TAB Highway Handicap at Randwick, while Defense Missile ran a sharp second in the Group Three Gold Coast Guineas.

Bred in Queensland by G Kerrison and H Heydon, the Matt Dunn trained We Concur is a highly promising three-year-old who has now won four of his seven starts, complimented by three placings, he was bound to make the trip south a winner.

Love Conquers All is a grandson of Success Express and We Concur is out of the winning Success Express mare, Orient Success.

Meanwhile, another nifty three-year-old in Defence Missile went close to notching up his first Group success in the Gold Coast Guineas.

Bred by K Douglas, Defence Missile is trained out of Eagle Farm by Les Ross and has now won $335,500 from his four wins and eight placings to date.

With 78% winners to runners from his first crop, Love Conquers All won the Listed Ascot Handicap with Mr Marbellouz two weeks ago, while Starkers joined a list of stakes performers such as Savanna Amour, I’m A Rippa, Perilous Love, Conquering Lass and Par Oneri when second in the Group Three Gunsynd Classic last week.

And just to round out a successful day, Clinton Garland’s Love Conquers All sprinter, All Pickled won by over three lengths at Rockhampton – his third race success.
