Emirates Park stallions in NSW and Victorian will stand the 2014 domestic breeding season for the same service fees advertised last year.
In Victoria, Artie Schiller (USA) has provided broodmare owners with ample reason to offer the same level of support with his stud career still very much in the ascendancy.
“We are more than satisfied with how the stud’s stallion roster is currently positioned and can’t see any reason for changing our service fees from last season,” Emirates Park CEO Trevor Lobb explained.  “Artie Schiller will remain at $22,000 (inc gst) which we regard as good value when you consider what his offspring are bringing at bloodstock auctions around the world.
“An Ocala Select 2YO fetched US$575,000 a few weeks ago, while his local yearlings are regular bringing six-figures. There’s enough going on, both on and off the track, to justify Artie’s service fee also remaining the same as it was in 2013.
Mulaazem is the other Emirates Park stallion based at its Digger’s Rest property and his first locally-bred foals are due this coming season. “Everything is going to plan with Mulaazem,” confirmed Lobb. “A quality young stallion, he has been afforded every opportunity so far in these early stages of his stud career.”
Mulaazem (Dubai Destination) is a half-brother to champion colt Sepoy and his service fee remains at $7,700 (inc gst). “We introduced him to local broodmare owners in 2013 and, with the likes of Guelph, his female-line is going from strength-to-strength.”
“When breeders call to shop for the best price on our stallions, they can rest assured that we will always be competitive while also upholding the highest standards.”
