Laceby Lodge Stud
Laceby Lodge Stud is situated in the beautiful horse capital of Victoria, only 9kms from the township of Wangaratta. Traveling north east along the Hume highway, only 2 hours from Melbourne. The property, on 50 acres consists of farm buildings, hay shed, 12 stables, 2 dams, 1 horse swim, round yards and a walking machine. This stud is a privately owned and run business, with current stock of 18 mares for the purpose of thoroughbred breeding and sales. The owner Michael Gibson, with farm manager Debbie Plattfuss, and small group of friendly staff conduct foaling down duties and preparation for future sales. The expertise of our staff ensures provision of well bred horses for owners, trainers, and major sales companies of Australia and overseas.
