CHATSWOOD ANNOUNCES TWO NEW STALLIONS FOR 2010 One of Victoria's leading stallion farms has announced the addition of two new stallions to their 2010 roster. The first is the top class juvenile Amadeus Wolf, which was one of the top rated 2yo's in Europe in 2005 and rated 122 by Timeform. He defeated 4 Group 1 winners to land the stallion producing race the G2 Duke of York Stakes, which was also won by Invincible Spirit. Joining Amadeus Wolf is Masterpiece, which is relocating from Ealing Park to Chastwood in 2010. From the day he won his first race start over 1200m as a 2YO Masterpiece always displayed great ability. He developed into a top class sprinter - miler on turf as a 3YO & 4YO in Argentina, winning the Gran Premio San Isidro Gr.1 at 1600m as well as running second in both the Gran Premio Palermo Gr.1 & the Gran Premio Joaquin de Anchorena Gr.1, and fourth in the Palermo Gran Premio Montevideo Gr.1. As a 5YO Masterpiece transferred to the US where he continued his good form on turf winning the Del Mar Brubaker Hcp LR over 1700m, and running fourth in the Hawthorne Carey Memorial Hcp Gr.3 over 1600m. Overall Masterpiece had 23 starts for 7 wins, six seconds, two thirds & three fourths, winning from 1200m to 1700m.
